Blackhead removal myths and tips?

okay first i know i have posted many questions about this already so please nobody tell me that..just don’t answer! Now, there are many blackhead removal myths and I want to know which really are myths. I used rubbing alcohol on my face for blackheads and it helped a little, but people have said it doesn’t work and makes it worse. Since it helped a little bit how long or about how many uses until it completely works? Also, what about elmer’s glue? Half of the people have said it makes it worse, but yet still some said it works miracles. If it depends on skin type I have fair, sometimes sensitive, combination skin. I don’t really have a problem with pimples…just blackheads between my eyebrows, chin and deep ones on my cheeks and nose. So my questions are 1.rubbing alcohol good or bad and how many uses and 2.elmer’s glue? (also how long). personal experiences are great and thank you so much to all serious answers!

Rubbing alcohol is bad for the skin. It drys it out and also sucks out many fatty materials that the skin is made from. You might try Witch Hazel instead.

Elmer’s or any white resin glue will work to remove blackheads. Be sure to use vaseline or oil on your eyebrows first or you’ll lose them. Rub it on like any make-up mask product, when clear peel it off. Once a day for two weeks then as necessary.

Here’s something else you can try. Rub oatmeal paste on your face and leave it to dry for 15 minutes, scrub well before washing off with cold water.
